Applications of BBa_K143074
Can be used as the front section (including integration sequence) of a construct to be cloned into B. subtilis while providing chloramphenicol resistance for the bacterium to allow selection. The presence of a promoter allows a useful constitutively expressed protein to be placed immediately behind eg. a repressor.

This part was used as part of the Biofabricator subtilis Imperial iGEM 2008 project and was used to assemble the GFP and RFP generator devices with Pveg-spoVG promoters (BBa_K143079 and BBa_K143082) to characterise these basic parts for B.subtilis. |
